I absolutely loved my "Liddle Kiddles". I was around 5 or 6 when my mom would take me to the toy store and i would pick out my "Liddle Kiddle". I still have them, tucked away.

I'm 43 years old and still have my little kiddles, their house, a skiddle kiddle, kiddles on roller skates, a small bracelet kiddle and 3 perfume kiddles. (still have scent) I love them.

I have eight of the nine Kologne Kiddles and I love them dearly. I am missing only Orange Blossom. They are in perfect condition each in their own bottle and on their stands. They even carry their scents all these years later. I first bought Apple Blossom. I saved my babysitting money and slowly bought each one at the local Marshall's Dept Store Toy Section in Barberton, OH. I hope to someday own Orange Blossom, she would complete my collection now forty years later. They make me smile each time I look at them.

10 kids, and I was the youngest in 1967. New toys were in catalogs. My mousetrap game was missing the bucket. My Barbie's hair was already cut off. But I remember a new birthday toy in May. Lily of the Valley. She smelled the best. Or at least better than my sister's Rosebud. I still argue with my sister about that.

I have been telling my now 12 year old daughter about these for so long, she said I wish you had them mom! I had Peter Panniddle-all of them in that pink carrying case! When I outgrew them* I gave them to a younger cousin, that's about the only think I ever regret=dumb mistake! My mom got me all of them, all the cologne dolls/and the locket ones. Looking back growing up in the 60's was a fun, and innocent time and I feel lucky to have lived at that time!

I'm 48 years old and I still have a Kiddle Kologn that my brother bought me when we were younger. I kept it because it was the first gift he bought me with his own money and he put his own thoughts into the gift. She sits on my dresser to this day...although the "musky" smell is gone! Now my 3 year old granddaughter wants it, but I don't think I could let it go....

I once got Bunson Bernie as a Christmas gift. WOW! I was taken! Built log cabins for him out of Lincoln logs. He was one of my all time favorite toys. I now have all the Liddle Kiddles and really cherish them.

I found a Lucky Locket Kiddle years ago, but had no idea what these dolls were (i'm only 22). So today while looking through a book of 1960s Ads I saw them! I kept her for so long because I thought she was adorable and so mysterious. Despite the case of the unknown doll being solved, I have to say I'm even more excited to have her!

I was licky enough to receive the Liddle Kiddle dollhouse for my birthday when I was in third grade! I can remember how I carried it over to my friend's house, opened the front of the house to reveal the three levels! It was wonderful. Two years later it and all the dolls were given away when we moved and Liddle Kiddles were for babies.

The one thing that I desperately wanted one Christmas was a Lucky Locket Kiddle. I think her name was Lilac. She was beautiful with long blonde hair and a Lilac dress. There were about 8 locket Kiddle dolls in this collection and I was terribly worried about how I'd explain to Santa Claus the exact one that I wanted. I begged my mom to let me tear out the page from the JC Penney Christmas catalog so I could show it to Santa, ensuring that I'd get the right doll. But my mom wouldn't let me rip up the catalog and kept reassuring me that Santa would know which one I wanted. Well that wasn't good enough for me so I memorized the item number from the catalog and remember it to this day. Santa gave me a rather strange look when I said that I would like to have "Little Kiddle in a locket, C-2." And on Christmas morning there she was--C-2 was mine!

I guess most of us that had kiddles, are now in their 40s,,haha, but in that era we didnt have alot of toys. I know i got a toy, and usually an outfit for my birthday, and christmas, thats it. But one year, in my Easter Basket, there was a bunny kiddle. That was the most special kiddle i ever got. My 2nd favorite was the Cinderella, along with the castle. Oh, i loved my space kiddle too,,,so many, i loved them all.

What a great place to relive our memories! I had Lola, Biff, and the girl on the page in yellow dress- she came with a helicopter and a couple of locket kiddles. My sister had Trikey,Calamity, Liddle Diddle & the peppermint one . I have recently been collecting them thru ebay....you know, collecting all the ones your cousins & friends got that you wanted! they were great fun......and glad I kept all mine that I had- and even happier that many out there were smart enough to keep theirs in good shape and willing to part with them,

I remember having the Liddle Kiddle on the locket. We lived in Montreal and a used to wear her all the time. If I wasn’t wearing her around my neck I would clip her on to my belt on my pants. She went everywhere with me. Funny thing is I wonder where she is now. I would love to see her again to give to my little girl. That brings back so many good memories. Those toys were great.

I notice that we are all around the same age - early '60's. I wonder if they were only marketed for a short time? I just found "Rosemary", my little kiddle in her bottle in my parent's basement - but not in any of the boxes of my belongings. She just appeared on the shelf, missing her top and no one seems to know where she came from! I'm afraid her smell will escape without her proper top, but I suppose after 35 years, I shouldn't expect her to still smell like roses; she does though. My best friend gave her to me for a birthday, I think when we were small - I have no idea of the exact dates but I know that we each had one and played with them and our Flatsies. I wonder where she has gotten off to? (the Flatsy, I mean - that friend and I are still friends today.)

When I was eight and my brother was six, he got a Bunson Bernie for his birthday. I was severely jealous! He took Bunson Bernie in his pocket everywhere. Finally I got very greedy and we fought over him at the park. Bigger and stronger, I snatched him out of my brother's hands and threw him across the basketball court. My poor little brother burst into tears. I felt horrible immediately. We looked for him for a long time but we couldn't find him at all. We went home utterly forlorn.

Time went by - an entire year. I forgot Bunson Bernie but even after Christmas and a birthday, my brother still missed him. Summer came and we went back to our vacation stomping ground, the park. One day I happened to be cutting across the basketball court and I saw - oh my goodness - Bunson Bernie in the grass! He was a little worse for wear, but my brother was utterly thrilled to have him back. I wish I could say that we stopped fighting about toys from that moment on, but we still bickered about everything. I like to think I was just a little nicer about sharing, though.

When I was little I won Voilet at a local amusement park. I tried and tried the game till I won her. She was the only prize there I wanted in the whole park. I had numerous surgeries as a child and I took her with me every time, I was so attached to that little doll. I have recently started collecting them. When I am looking through them it's as if I can almost smell her now. She was my security in the hospital. I hope to own her again ...soon.

I was a preschooler when these came out, and my sister was about 8. We both had several. Our favorites were Biff, Bunsen, Liddle Diddle, and Calamity (who I still have) - of the original group. Then, later I had Cherry Blossom (the Japanese Skediddle Kiddle), the Flower Pin, and Brawny Bear in the circus cage. They shared a wooden dollhouse filled with Petite Princess furniture with my Dawns and Tutti, and a few other small dolls.

When I was about 3 1/2, my sister wrote a postcard and "sent" it to me. She wrote it as if it was from Biff, and it asked me when I would come back to Kiddie World (toy store in San Jose, CA) and visit him. Then he talked about how excited I must be to be starting preschool! I was thrilled that Biff had written to me. I still have that postcard in a scrapbook.

My mom wasn't big on buying toys for us, but I convinced her to buy me a locket kiddle that had a jewelry chain that you could wear around your neck. I loved that kiddle! I wore it over to my friend Donna's house and she stole it from me, I was heartbroken. She claimed she couldn't find it, but I knew she was hiding it. Well my mom was mad at me for losing it and wouldn't buy me another one.

Years later... (let's say about 40 years) I discovered that they are still around and able to be purchased which has made me an avid collector of Liddle Kiddles. I don't remember exactly which one was stolen from me, but I believe that I've replaced it many times over thanks to websites such as this...Thanks!

Had to write my memory too. My Sister and I got two each and we played with them and the feet of one had been eaten by our dog. We had to rescue the dolls many times so the dog would not get the other feet too. I also got the zooery or the little monkey locket that was his cage on wheels. I remember wearing it to school in third grade. My mother gave me all the dolls for my kids, but I kept the kiddles and still have my original gardenia Kologne Kiddle in her bottle. My sister had Orange Blossom, but lost the bottle long ago. I was going to different sites to find the names of the ones we had. I remember having Sizzly Friddle and the outdoor grill. We used that grill long after the doll was gone to furnish our doll houses as a chair. We played hard with them and can't figure out why they never kept that line going. I know my own daughter would have loved it when she was little. I did get her a new one, that is simmilar, but it was just not the same. Hers was made by Playschool in 1992 and had a plastic water/glitter dome over her and she was a wedding doll. We left her mostly in her case and did not play with her often. Not like the Kiddles, we played with them all the time, took them with us, and wore them out. Loved Dolls of our time.

I used to play with Little Kiddles when I lived in Hawaii. There aren't too many people around who remember them. I remember Calamity Kiddle and Griddle Kiddle, but that's about it for the names. My sister's friend had about every kiddle available at the time (1965-66) and it took us longer to set up all her accessories than it did for us to play. What fond memories!!

Purple Gurple... My sister had a collection of Little Kiddles, and Purple Gurple was the one that I always begged to play with. The whole Kozmic Kiddle thing didn't really click for her but I loved that green little tuft of hair, and that spaceship went on hair-raising reconnaissance missions in our living room and the teal colored front-load Kenmore washing machine with the round window. Hi.I'm a grown 43 year old adult woman who also owned and played with Liddle Kiddles as a young child. Recently watching old home videos of my family my 9 year old daughter asked, "what's that thing around our neck mom"? It was a Liddle Kiddle Locket.I asked my mother to see if I had any left as a child. She was able to find 6 very played with Kiddles. My daughter now owns and loves them. I had forgotten about Liddle Kiddles and have now become a collector.I am having a great time reliving my childhhod with and thru my young daughter collecting new and used Kiddles. It's such a thrill to see her eyes light up and have her enjoy toys that I owned and played with when I was her age. Jeanene in Littleton Co.May.6.2005

These were some cute dolls, just because they were almost miniatures. My sister and I never had any of the ring Kiddles, but she got the brooch trimmed in pink Jewelry Kiddle, we used her as the Mom. I got the bracelet in trimmed in blue Jewelry Kiddle, we used her as the baby. They are packed away with our Storybook Kiddles, Red Riding Hood, with a chennel gray wolf, and Peter Pan Kiddle with a cute little crocodile. We also have Skiddlers the girl with the yellow dress, red hair and orange skiddle and the girl with the pink skiddle and blue dress and blonde hair. These are stashed in unison with our talking Barbies, suntan Barbies and Mod dolls. We have at least 10 or 15 books that used to come in the packages with the outfits or the dolls themselves, all marked with checks if we "had it" or "needed it", actually it's "wanted it". We always had to wait for an occassion or holiday for dolls and toys in those days. Kids today don't have to have a reason to receive a gift today it seems, and I think they will not appreciate what they have. Maintaining precious memories of the moment might require how bad they wanted it and how many long hours they play with it. P.S. Remember the travel luggage with jacks in them that had airline company logo's. We used to use them for all our different Kiddles clothes and the dolls themselves. (PanAm, JAP)

I added this memory on March 7, 2005 but my birthdate is wrong. Can you re-submit it to have the correct birthdate? I would appreciate it very much:

I remember one Christmas when I was eight and not completely sure about the existance of Santa. I peaked under my parents bed that year and spied a Liddle Kiddle doll and a PeeWee doll. I was so excited! Christmas morning I got the PeeWee doll and my sister got the Liddle Kiddle doll, from Santa! So much for Santa and so much for owning my own Liddle Kiddle. Later I got a Liddle Kiddle locket doll and I just loved it!

Oh my gosh!!! I am 42 years old and I still remember the smell of them! They are probably one of my favorite memories. Sometimes I will be somewhere like a candle store or something and find that smell and it just brings back so many memories. Once, in Wal-Mart, I saw a little doll in the toy department and had to sniff it! Nuts I know but it looked so much like the Liddle Kiddles that I had to see if they were a remake! I did not even remember the name of them until I came here to read about Fuzzy Wuzzy (to see if I imagined that one, but no!) and I saw the picture of the Liddle Kiddles! Thanks!

When I was 8 or 9, sometimes my brother would have me deliver his newspapers and I could collect and keep his tips. I would walk uptown, about half a mile, to the local 5 and dime and buy a kiddle with the tips I kept. I guess you could say that I had to work for my kiddles, but I loved them dearly. Later, when I married, my husband decided to give away my kiddles to a little girl down the street without asking. I was heartbroken but could not bring myself to ask for them back. I have thought about them often over the years.

Hi ;))

This is so funny/ironic. I just did a search on google for "Liddle Kiddle pool". I didn't find anything for that specifically...but, I found several other Liddle Kiddle references, including this one. The best ;))

Oh my....here's my Liddle Kiddle story. My two best girlfriends (in 5th grade) had Barbies and alllllllllllll the accroutements. I had Midge!!!! (So sorry, but who wanted Midge???) I was soooooo envious of my friends. Until I got my Liddle Kiddle swimming pool!!!!!!! (For Christmas one year.) (No one here has mentioned this!!) It was the best! It had a shower stall with a small pump you could squeeze water out of, a beach ball, a diving board, raft and all. Wow!!!! I loooovveeeddd that pool. Odd thing is I don't remember having any of the actual dolls?? I'm sure I must have had at least one.

My other bessstttttt memory...also not mentioned here??!! were the cutout dolls!!! My brother who is 2 years younger than me and I would play for hours!!!! Beauty pagent!!!! Yes!!! Bunson Bernie was always the judge. And when my brother helped Bunson with his winning selection, it was always Babe??? (Short brown hair) I, of course, let Lola win almost every time. (Long blond hair turned up in a flip :) I swear there was one called Freezie Swizzle or something like that??? Maybe Freezie Kiddle? (This has been about 35 years ago.) They were my favorite things of all times, along with my EZ Bake oven. We had the best toys as kids!!!

Get this....I actually found a set of Liddle Kiddles when I was living in Mexico!!!! (around 1982). I was ecstatic. I brought them back for my brother thinking he would think it was the best present ever. As a man, by then in his 20's, he was probably less enthusiastic than I hoped. I may actually still have both of those paper doll sets. Long live our childhood's fondest memories!!!

We shoud see if we could name all the Kiddles here!!!!

Here's my poor start:

Bunson Bernie Babe Lola

P.S....I swear the lockets came out after???? I don't remember them like I do the other things.

Thank you so much for jogging my memory. My grandmom used to make little play houses out of oatmeal boxes or dog biscuit boxes. They were the perfect house for Liddle Kiddles. Polly Pocket has nothing on these girls.

All I wanted for Xmas of 1966 was a Liddle Kiddles. I had opened all my presents hoping to find at least one and was crushed when I didn't get any. The twist of the knife came when my little sister (2 1/2 years younger) got two of them (Florence and Greta)! My parents didn't even seem to notice my terrible disappointment as they handed me one last gift, way too big to be a Kiddle. I didn't even want to open it, but in the end, they convinced me. It turned out to be the Kiddle Klub House filled with Biff, Millie, Lola, Calamity, Babe, Bunson Burnie and Liddle Diddle! I still remember how overjoyed I was to see them! From that Xmas on, my sister and I spent hours and hours playing with our kiddles and they are among my favorite childhood memories. I still have my favorite, Millie (though her original body wore out and was replaced by Lola's), plus Lorna Locket, Lily of the Valley, Suki and a blond Skediddle Kiddle (I don't remember her name). I had some jewelry kiddles too. They are long gone now, but I still have Truly Scrumptious and Jemima. Obviously, I was a great fan of them all but my favorite kiddles were always the ones my sister and I got that magical Xmas!

I loved my Liddle Kiddles. I had several different kinds. One in a yellow car, one that walked, one in a helicopter type thing, a couple that had a blue snow sled. I remember leaving them out when we left for our weekly sunday drive and our dog chewed the legs off of one of them. Taught me not to leave them out again. I also had a perfume one that I think was lilac or something. They were nice little dolls.

I had a skididdle kiddle that rode the bike. It seemed that some of them could walk, too. They had that thing you could plug into their back and push them along and their arms and legs would pump up and down. Haven't thought of them in years! Thanks for the trip down memory lane!

Didn't anybody besides me have a "skididdle kiddle?" You know, that rode on a bicycle?

My big sister and I had a few of the Liddle Kiddles dolls. I must have been quite young...maybe under 5 when we got them. My sister still has one well-loved Kiddle. She has long Purple scented hair-must have been one of the Kologne dolls-and you can still smell the perfume! My sister told me that I kept cutting my Liddle Kiddles' hair, though!

I loved my Little Kiddles. My oldest sister would buy them for me. I had every Kologne Kiddle there was. I loved the green apple one. I had lockets and the club house and the rings. I would play with them for hours. I wish they were still around to buy for my own girls. I also wish I still had my kiddles, unfortunately they went the wayside of many of toys to the bottom of the toy box where mom finally threw them out.

I loved my Little Kiddles! I am the youngest of four and was very proud to have my own dolls and not my older sister's Barbie leftovers. My oldest sister surprised me when she took the corner built-in hutch (in our knotty pine basement) and converted it into a Little Kiddles dollhouse. She made furniture out of popsicle sticks, cut animal rugs out of fake leopard fabric and made little lamps out of wire and construction paper–soooo cool! My neighborhood friends and I spent hours and hours playing in this 'house'-three stories, with all the amenities. It remains one of my fondest childhood memories, thanks sis!!!

Once upon a time I had a Lucky Locket Kiddle and a Jewelry Kiddle ring, but I longed for a Kiddle Kologne. I recall looking at them in a store thinking how difficult it would be to choose one.

Time marches on, but I still have my ring Kiddle. Last week, for no good reason at all, the Kologne Kiddles came to mind and I went online intending to see some pictures. Before I knew it, I had acquired Rosebud and Apple Blossom. Tonight I scored Sweet Pea at an auction. Make me stop!

What a blast-I was never really one to play with dolls as a little girl but I LOVED my Liddle Kiddles! I can't remember all their names but I know I never wanted my older sister to go near them! I must have had dozens of them at one point as well as the Club House and whatever accessories came with...very fun.

Love those kiddles! I had six of them when I was a child, & my sister had some too. My favorite was lavender locket kiddle, (my Grandma gave it to me) & Lola tried to sail down Clear Creek many times! I saw the kiddle klub house on EBAY over a year ago, had to have it! Brought out all my kiddles to live in it, (the only toys I kept from childhood). Some people think it's weird, others think it's cool, I'm still collecting those kiddles!

I loved Little Kiddles! My mother bought me some for my first plane ride in 1967(and because I had the chicken pox) to keep me and my sister occupied. I remember having one that I think was Lily of the Valley (purplish) and I had another that was the locket! I have always wondered if others enjoyed them as much as I did. I would love to give them to my nieces to enjoy as we did!

Oh my goodness! My sister and I spent HOURS (not to mention our allowances) on Liddle Kiddles! Linda got more of them than I did, and I still haven't figured out why that was. I think because she was younger and more spoiled than me. We had Liz Locket, Honeysuckle, Violet, Apple Blossom and the one in the picture of this site...the one cooking on the grill. Don't remember the name of that one since I'm too old now, LOL.

I found my first kiddle on the access road behind our house in a dried up puddle. Some poor child must have lost it, but it had seen better days.I immediately adopted it!!! It was a Liddle Diddle (I didn't know it then) and she was worse for the wear. She had the dotted sleeper, not the plaid, and she was faded and dirty. My mom helped me clean her up and make some accessories...and she became my very fist "kiddle kreation." My mom thought they were adorable, and we looked until we found out what they were, and she bought me my very own Liddle Diddle. In the next couple years I collected several storybook kiddles which were my favorites, and many others...but I was never able to get all of them. I loved the Lily of the Valley and Little Biddle Peep. I treasured the ones I was able to get. I still have every single one from my childhood, and all their accessories. The only thing I'm missing is Peter Pan's shadow because it deteriorated with age. I used to play with them with my friend Laura. What fun we had! I'll always love kiddles.

In 1968, I chose my friends by who had the best kiddle collection. One girl named Pattee had several. I found ways to be invited over to her house. I was delighted when I got a lemon one for my birthday and then, a walking kiddle (she had this thing you put in her back that made her mobile). I especially admired the kiddles that came in bottles and lockets. Cool, stuff.

Liddle Kiddles were my all time favorite toy! I couldn't even begin to say how many I had! I had the Klub House just full of them. I too wore my new locket to church on Christmas Day in 1967! I had Larky Locket and just bought her again on Ebay. I have bought so many on ebay! Love my Kiddles! I only want the ones I had when I was little which was most of them! :) Great Dolls, Great Memories!

I remember my Liddle Kiddles too. I remember going to church on Christmas at St. Monica's (must have been 1967) and wearing my Locket Kiddle & seeing another kid who had one too! That must have been a popular Xmas present that year. I also had "Greta Griddle" and a playhouse for them. A few years ago I found a Ring Kiddle that I still have. They were adorable.

I remember Little Kiddles so well; I still have one of mine and she is well over 40 years old. I loved my Little Kiddles and I think it would be great if the toy companies brought them back.

I adored these as a kid. You would not believe what they often go for on eBay. Obviously, a lot of other kids adored them as well.

I still remember the ONE I had. Got it from the fancy dept. store after my poor harried mother finally caved and bought it for me. I treasured her. She came inside of a perfume bottle and smelled like sweet green apples.

My snooty friend had a perfume one and a locket one. But hey, I was so thrilled with that apple Kiddle that not even her snotty attitude could destroy it.

I am now 44. My best friend and I played with Little Kiddles all the time . It is what we spent our 50 cents a week allowance on. Thinking of her and my Little Kiddles bring a tear to my eye.
