I played with Weebles until I was 11! I loved them more than any other toy. I hate the western set, complete with the Weeble horse and carriage. I had the haunted house, the tree house, etc. They kept me occupied for hours. I had a little red-haired girl with a striped shirt. The ghost was glow in the dark. I can remember the witch and the cowboy too. I never liked the Fisher Price people. Unforunately, my grandmother threw away all of my toys, including Barbie and her Dream House and Town House with the pull-string elevator. I loved the culture of the 70's. I remember too the Weeble ship and the pirates! I have a photo of me at Christmas playing with my new Weebles. Oh, the memories.

Hi all, I also had the toy weeble sub. I thought it was the greatest idea. I am here today trying to find the original Weeble Wobbles for my son. I have seen the new improved but for me they just are not the same. If anyone has any information that would be great. I read they ceased production in 1997 or something like that. Thanks, Neil neilwalkermccurry@yahoo.com

Weebles were pretty fun when I was in second grade,... Then we figured out that made one hell of a projectile too and started embedding them in plaster walls. Ah the memories....

I almost drowned trying to save my Weebles.... There was a 4 ft. pool in the backyard, and I had my Weebles in my house purse, which floated away in the pool.. I was 4... When I reached out to grab them, I went under and was rescued soon afterward... after everyone stopped laughing... the 70's... the Weebles... they were great, weren't they!

How Fun!! I remember playing with my Weeble all the time. I had the house, playground, and ship. My mom gave various cousins the big pieces but I still have most of the people. I wish she hadn't given them away because my toddler loves them.
The new ones aren't as cute and there are no people.

The original weebles were the best...there was just something special about those smooth little egg-shapes that fit just right in a little kid's hand. I don't think I had any weebles of my own, but my brother had bunches of them...I was (ahem!) too old for "baby toys" like that when they came along, but secretly loved to play with them. When my daughter was little, I could never bring myself to buy her any of the "new & improved" big weebles because they just weren't the same.

I remember having 'loose' weebles, one was a girl with yellow hair and the other I think may have been pink. Anyway, I recall it was my first year of school and I took 2 with me. For some reason I was playing with them under my desk and got them confiscated! Reading this website has made me think that I don't actually remember getting them back!! I have now discovered 'Weebles' again on TV and am going to buy my little boy some sets for his first birthday. At least its something we'll both enjoy playing with!!

I loved my weebles. I got a set that included the camper, a motorcycle, a picnic table, a boat trailer and a small boat, the blue car/pick up thing and a couple, a guy with brown hair and a lady with blonde. This was in the late 70's. I love them. I played with them a lot. I haven't got a clue where the weebles themselves went, but my 5 year old son is driving the car and camper around my living room right now.

There's this guy who works with us (names and places shall remain nameless) who is about 5 ft tall and 325 pounds. He details cars for us. He walked into the office and asked a question, after he left a co-worker called him weebles wobbles, I laughed not fully understanding the jist to her joke. She asked me if I remembered them. I say no is it a cartoon? She laughed and said they're toys, so of course I went to google and you came up. I think I remember this toy but I'm not really sure I was born in 1975. These toys are so cute I'd buy one for my 4yr old any day. Do you have any Hello Kitty Weebles?

My name is amy and I remember haveing couple weebles. My babysitter had the treehouse and I would play with it for hours. A couple of hours ago I went to our towns 4-h fair and found the weebles tree house with everything in good shape. the only thing that is missing is the dad and the tricycle. I was thinking of selling it but I think that I might actually keep it.

Whe I was a child I had a weebles house along with a number of weebles. When I was 16 yrs old I sold it at a tag sale my mom was having. I now regret selling it, because I would have loved to give to my son since it was in great condition when I sold it. I have fond memories of playing with my weebles house.

A bunch of cows and bulls are standing in a field. A huge gust of wind comes along and all the cows fall over, but the bulls just stand there, bracing themselves against the gale. All the cows stand up and go back to their chewing. Pretty soon, an even stronger wind blows through and all of the cows are knocked to the ground, but the bulls just munch on the grass. Next, a bona fide tornado comes through and all the cows are knocked clean into the next pasture. The bulls just say, "Mooo..." Finally, one of the cows walks up to one of the bulls and says, "Moo? Is that all you can say? How come the wind always knocks us right over and you just stand there?" "Isn't it obvious?" the bull replies. "We bulls wobble, but we don't fall down."

Yep, Weebles wobble but they don't fall down. Of course, Weebles wouldn't pass a choak hazard test for toys in about 98 countries today!! LOL But they are a classic. I've seen pictures of early prototypes and they were the size of a robin's egg. The Weebles were re-introduced by Hasbro about 1996 and they are of course MUCH larger.

Weebles are wonderful! I loved mine. I had the tree house and playground set. My worst memory of Weebles is when my mother threw them in the trash as a punishment. I was so upset I dug them out admist a rain of tears. Covered in coffee grounds and bits of trash I lovingly took them to my bathroom to be washed off. My mother was almost too surprised to be angry. I remember she said, "I didn't know they meant so much to you."
Well, I don't remember what I was being punished for but I'm glad I rescued those cute little guys from certain doom.
I don't know what happened to the toys I had growing up. Now I've started a collection of 1970's Weebles which no one will be throwing out any time soon!

I just retrieved my weebles from my parents attic for my 2 girls (ages 2 and 8 months). I'm thrilled to have the Weebles Ranch, Treehouse and Camper & Car for them to enjoy. I have all the accessories for each! I forgot how much I loved the horses & weeble with cowboy hat at the ranch, the motorcycle & luggage on the back of the camper. I can't wait for the kids to wake up so we can get on the floor and have some serious Weeble time! I think they'll love them as much as I did.

I ADORE Weebles and still do. I had the playground, the submarine, the haunted house, and I still have a treehouse in my parents' attic but I'm not sure if it's the Weebles or not. Too dusty to go look. The haunted house was far and away my favorite, with the playground a close second. I liked the glow in the dark ghost Weeble and the 'fainting' Weeble with no weight in the bottom, complete with little Weeble bed. And I was amazed you could swing the little guys on the playground set without slingshotting them out against the wall... not that I didn't try!

We had alot of WEEBLES as kids! My favorite was the WEEBLES TREEHOUSE, I'd play with that for HOURS! I never thought any existed anymore until I came across this website, this is a Great website! Takes me back! I have checked eBay for the treehouse, but no one ever seems to have those on there, I've seen some Weeble people and the haunted house, but no Treehouse! I used to ALWAYS try to make the Weebles fall down figuring if you push them to wobble hard and fast enough, they would just lay on their sides.....it never worked...LOL. However the long shag carpets worked Great for defeating the Weeble!!

Me and my sister used to have the tree house, haunted house, ranch and the Magic Kingdom. Of course, like a lot of parents, mine gave all of ours away to a neighbor with younger children. The sad part is, my sister is mentally handicapped and those were her favorite toys. We tried to ask the neighbor for them back. We explained that we want them back for my sister to play with, but she still won't give them back. So now I am on eBay buying bits and pieces to give to my sister as a Christmas present this year. I can't wait to see the look on her face. She has clung to the last one she had for the past 25 years. It is amazing that something so small can make someone so happy :)

Oh, Man! I used to love my Weebles race track. It was battery operated and worked by vibrating rapidly back and forth. I had the cottage, the playground and the cool submarine with diver too but they are long gone, sold at a garage sale for a quarter I'm sure. I had one Weeble that I peeled off all the face so my Grandfather painted a new face on her. She looked silly, I hated her. But, now it makes me laugh to look at her.
