I will always remember the Superfriends and the Legion of Doom. It had all the cool superheroes: Superman, Batman & Robin, Aquaman, Thor, Iceman, those goofy Wondertwins and their stupid monkey Gleek, and even Wonderwoman. But I often wondered why Spiderman never got on board. Was he jealous that Superman was so hot? We'll never know. Saturday morning was the day you got up to watch cartoons and then get your butt out of the house for the whole day or mom would make you clean or rake leaves! Good times, good times!
